Zelig was designed by Arch Giovanni Carini for Marcatre’ in 1987; he asked to work on some work tools and accessories for his system which resulted in the idea of using a kind of clamp onto which shelves, moving arms and modesty screens etc to support phone trays and file boxes and things at that time that were being used in the office.
